摘要
Muon spin relaxation, Mossbauer spectroscopy, magnetization, and ac-susceptibility have been used to investigate transverse spin freezing in a site-frustrated alloy system. All static and dynamic signatures coincide to yield a well-defined transition temperature (T-xy). These results are in full agreement with numerical simulations and earlier work on bond-frustrated alloys. No evidence is found for a third transition below T-c and T-xy. A complete magnetic phase diagram for a-(Fe1-xMnx)(78)Si8B14 is presented.
