摘要
The transmission losses of a terahertz (THz) wave in a hollow-core Bragg fiber with cobweb cladding are analyzed. The numerical results show that the losses in the wavelength range of 70-1000 mu m are below 8.5 x 10(-5) dB/cm. The lowest loss of 9.03 x 10(-6) dB/cm or 2.08 x 10(-6) cm(-1) is obtained for Fiber A at 90 mu m. The losses in this new class of Bragg fibers are reduced to far lower than those of other fibers for a THz wave reported so far in the literature.
