On the Chinese Tourism Destination Construction Guided by Tourism Standardization

Existing experiences in the construction of the tourism industry show that its growth shall be based on standards and criteria, which are required for industrial prosperity. However, unlike material products, tourism services are produced, sold and consumed simultaneously. Setting standards for this industry is necessary to promote the development of tourism companies; the maturity of the tourism market; the integration the national tourism industry with glocal tourism development, and the protection of consumer rights. In this paper, the author discusses the sustainable tourism development in line with tourism standardization by taking Arxan city as an example.
