摘要
The low specificity of the loss-of-resistance (LOR) method for epidural catheter placement often leads to catheter misplacement. Novel systems allow the measurement of epidural pressure during the puncture procedure with graphical and acoustic signals. In a prospective, multicenter observational study, the potential benefit and possible limitations of the CompuFlo (R) device (n = 30) were analyzed based on local center data.
