Random Telegraph voltage signals (RTVS) have been detected on a superconducting Bi2Sr2Ca1Cu2O8+x (BSCCO) thin film, current biased below the sample critical current I-c in a dissipationless state, at temperatures T < 7K and in a weak perpendicular magnetic field B. RTVS average lifetimes clearly show that voltage fluctuations are governed by an intrinsic energy barrier height linearly depending on B. This evidence supports the hypothesis of a magnetic origin of these phenomena.
