摘要
A theory of salt water irrigation scheduling is proposed based on a crop-water-salt production function and dynamic models of field soil water and salt. Inputs for the models were obtained from field experiments and long-term climatic data collected at the Sushuihe Experimental Area of Salt Water Irrigation in Yongji, Shanxi Province, China. The models were used to simulate the effect of salt water irrigation on soil salt content and yield of winter wheat and cotton. Various combinations of salt concentrations in the irrigation water and irrigation scheduling were tested for a total of 49 different treatments. Comparison of the model simulations with field results showed that these models were reliable. Salt water irrigation scheduling and groundwater use strategies are given based on analysis of irrigation benefits of both deep and shallow wells using simulated crop yields.
