摘要
Humanity is facing an existential contradiction: we are building an urban future for ourselves, yet urbanization in its current form is threatening the very future of humanity and the natural world. Urban growth is a seemingly unstoppable worldwide process. Much has been written about this historic trend, but the environmental impacts of an urbanizing world are barely discussed.
