摘要
New generation distance educational information systems will base on distance educational resources, and provide an independent, individual and opening distance. educational software environment for teachers and students. Mobile Agent is a kind of novel Agent technology characterized by mobile, autonomic, responsible, initiative and speculative. After introduction of grid technology and Mobile Agent technology, architecture of distance educational grid is described. To find an effective solution to open problems in distance education information systems at present, so as to improve system load capacity, flexibility and intelligence, and meet the demands of modern distance education better accordingly. A design and implementation scheme for the next generation distance educational information systems based on distance educational grid and Mobile Agent technology are discussed.
