摘要
Internationalisation has been recognized as an essential condition of development and the way to operate in common area of global Higher Education. Modem internationalisation approaches are associated with an integration of all units of HEIs into internationalisation process, wide participation and commitment of academic community members. This creates demand for adequate competences of administrative and academic staff. International competence has been identified as one of the essential competences in modem internationalised HEIs. The paper presents theoretical framework for identification of Intercultural competence demand among international relations staff and academic staff, and results of survey which have confirmed the intercultural competence demand in both target groups.
