摘要
Polarization modulation of the incident electromagnetic field is used to increase the sensibility and the in situ experiment ability of the reflexion-absorption infrared spectroscopy and the infrared linear dichroism. This method allows a precise determination of the molecular orientation on Langmuir-Blodgett monolayers and thin polymer films, and can be also used to obtain the vibrational circular dichroism of chiral molecules.
