摘要:
A general and practical Lewis acids catalyzed synthesis of aryl formates has been established. With catalytic amount of cheap metal as the catalyst, good to excellent yields of aryl formates can be isolated with good functional group tolerance. Formic acid has been applied as the formyl source and triflate salts of zinc, manganese and copper are all suitable catalysts here. (C) 2017 Elsevier B. V. All rights reserved.
