摘要
A novel and mild pharmaceutical-oriented iron-catalyzed ethoxylation of aryl C(sp(2))-H bonds with cobalt co-catalyst was successfully developed. The reaction occurs efficiently with broad substrate scope tolerance and high regioselectivity. It's the first example of C-H alkoxylation using inexpensive and low biotoxicity iron as a catalyst.
