Luminescence and Energy Transfer of Ce3+→Tb3+ in KMgF3:Ce3+, TB3+ Nanoparticles

摘要
Nanoparticles of KMgF3:Ce3+, Tb3+ were prepared by mieroemulsion method. Luminescence properties and interactions between Ce3+ and Tb3+ were studied. The results show that there is an energy transfer process from Ce3+ to Tb3+ in KMgF3:Ce3+, Tb3+ nanoparticles, namely, Ce3+ ion can directly transfer the absorbed energy to Tb3+ ion, which makes the green luminescence intensity of Tb3+ ion stronger.
