摘要
The condensing and evaporating heat transfer characteristics of HCFC-22 and one of its alternatives, an ozone friendly refrigerant HFC-134a, flowing inside a 9.5 mm (3/8 in) OD axially grooved tube with 1% oil were investigated experimentally. When compared to R-22 at the same refrigerant flaw rate, the condensing heat transfer coefficients for R-134a are 8% to 18% highs, and the evaporating heat-transfer coefficient is about the same with R-134A for mass velocity below 270 kg/m(2)-s and lower beyond that velocity, relative to R-22.
