Prospects for Promoting of Russian Educational Services' Export in the Latin America

The article analyzes the trends in the export of higher education services from Russia to Latin America. Based on the data obtained during the statistical analysis, a sociological research technique was designed and a pilot study was conducted. Based on the results of the pilot study, conclusions and recommendations were formulated regarding the prospects for the development of the export of educational services to Peru, and the methodology was tested. In particular, it was concluded that Latin American students are interested in getting education in Russia, and the main problem for the promotion of educational services is the lack of awareness of the possibilities of Russian universities and the lack of necessary institutional support in terms of inter-university agreements. A further task is to validate the methodology on a larger sample and on different types of universities in the leading countries of Latin America. The analysis presented in the article may be useful to management when choosing tools to accelerate university changes in terms of the development of the export of educational services.
