摘要：

Pyogenic liver abscess in the pediatric population is a rare entity and can be difficult to manage. Surgical infections caused by Streptococcus anginosus are exceedingly rare. Here we present a case of pyogenic liver abscess caused by S anginosus in an adolescent presenting with fever, nausea, emesis, and right upper quadrant abdominal discomfort. (C) 2010 Elsevier Inc.
