摘要
This research examined the application of permanent magnet vernier motors without any magnets on the rotor to an ultra-high-speed motor. Ultra-high-speed motor have used a surface magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) and a switched reluctance motor (SRM). The magnets in SPMSM are attached to the rotor, so it is necessary to design the motor to prevent the magnets from scattering. SRM does not use magnets, so the torque density is low. However, our proposed model does not require such structural considerations and can achieve high torque because the magnets are attached to the stator side, not the rotor, and the rotor has only an iron core. In this research, torque characteristics are investigated by setting the minimum air gap length as 0.5 mm and 1 mm, and the relationship between torque characteristics and rotor shape is shown in detail based on the results of the investigation.
