摘要
Conditions in which blood glucose levels are elevated but not in the range of diabetes mellitus occur commonly The term "prediabetes" has recently been adopted internationally to describe many of these conditions, but no national or international management guidelines have been published. This position statement has been developed as outlined in Box 1 to provide consensus-based clinical care guidelines for patients with prediabetes.
