Approximate analytic solution of photochromic and photorefractive gratings in photorefractive materials

摘要
We have developed an approximate analytic expression of two wave mixing for absorption and phase gratings in photorefractive materials taking into account self-diffraction effect of two writing beams. We also present experimental evidence of simultaneous recording of the mixed gratings recorded in BaTiO3 crystal and measure grating amplitudes and phases relative to intensity grating by using grating translation technique, showing good agreement with the theory developed.
