摘要
The purpose of this study is to generate a broadband high-performance vortex wave. By using the waveguide theory and the grating vectors model, a broadband quasi-continuous metasurface is proposed to generate the l = +/- 2 vortex beams with a measuring mode purity of 0.68 operating from 9 GHz to 19 GHz. In compare with previous designs, this metasurface provide a significant bandwidth improvement with continuous upper surface feature. The measured far-field patterns have a good agreement with those obtained from the simulation. This work offers a useful route of producing high-purity orbital angular momentum waves.
