摘要
Optical frequency standards, based on the 674 nm transition in Sr-88(+) and Sr-87(+) are being developed. Zeeman components in two Sr-88(+) traps were compared, with stabilities of 100 Hz measured at a few tens of seconds. Sr-87(+) offers "clock" transitions with no first-order Zeeman shifts and laser cooled Si-87(+) ions have been observed.
