An Empirical Study on the Construction of Multi-Factor Model of Foreign Language Learning Difficulties

摘要
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the specific factors of foreign language learning difficulties. In this paper, 231 college students were investigated. By combining the research literature in the field with the actual situation in China, the questionnaire was revised. By means of structural equation modeling, a multi-factor model of foreign language learning difficulties was constructed. Through the analysis, it was found that there are many factors causing foreign language learning difficulties. The related factors include learning motivation, anxiety level, personality embodiment, affective tendency, learning strategies and social factors. Eventually, an empirical analysis on several factors of learning difficulties in the model was carried out; meanwhile, some suggestions on how to correct and guide the students with learning difficulties were also put forward.
