摘要：
Since the discovery of endothelin peptides, much interdisciplinary research looked into their unique profile as powerful and long-lasting vasoconstrictors and mitogens. On account of the renal vasculature's sensitivity to endothelin-l and the peptide's various effects on the kidney, the role of endothelin-l in the control of kidney function has attracted particular attention.
