Data Literacy in university libraries-LRC: Descriptive and proactive analysis

摘要
The purpose of this study is to examine the presence of data literacy in the user training programmes offered by libraries and/or learning and research resource centres (LRRCs), as well as to design a training proposal in this re-gard. For this purpose, an exploratory, descriptive and propositional research was carried out. The sample is made up of more than five hundred and fifty courses proposed by the CRAI libraries of the seventy-two Spanish universities in the 2020-2021 academic year. The technique applied is the content analysis of the institutional web pages of the academic libraries and, specifically, of their training services. The results obtained show that the integration of data literacy in the information literacy programmes proposed by the university information units is still insufficient, which justifies the need to offer a data literacy training proposal.
