IoT-based Patient Information Monitoring System by Using RFID Technologies

摘要
Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) and Radio Frequency-Identification (RFID) are important components of IoT systems. WBANs are embedded devices which consist of sensor nodes, and are capable of sensing many vital physiological data such as body temperature, blood pressure and electrocardiogram (ECG), etc. from human body. RFID is an automatic identification of objects using electromagnetic waves. In this study, a patient monitoring system by using WBANs and RFID is introduced. The results show that physiological and personel information from the human body can successfully be matched at remote web server by using the WBANs and RFID system implemented.
