摘要
In recent years, the development of Service Function Chaining (SFC) has been increasing dramatically alongside the transformation from physical machines to virtual devices in service provider networks. With the combination of Software-defined Networking and Network Function Virtualization, SFC enables deploying and managing network services rapidly and flexibly, which allows service providers to offer their customers high performance, scalable, and reliable services. Besides its advantages, the adoption of SFC also requires various security considerations. In this paper, we address the service function trust issue in SFC environments and propose the Network Service Permission Control Platform to apply permission control policies to service functions in service function chains.
