摘要：

This study sets out to describe the logic of witness at work throughout John's Gospel. In the circle of witness, where every witness bears witness to another witness, the truth through this circle so bears witness to itself that it is the alpha lambda eta theta epsilon iota alpha itself that comes forward, in the first person singular, and is fulfilled in the presence of the one called pi nu epsilon upsilon mu alpha.
