Product development: an integrating curriculum

摘要
This paper describes the evolution of a product development curriculum that is currently used at final year undergraduate level. The module is unique in that it shares activities between students on different courses in different universities. The curriculum was developed jointly by a number of institutions throughout Europe. During implementation, student feedback and independent evaluation were used to formulate the further development and progress. The paper outlines the key results from the evaluation and discusses the role of this type of module at engineering postgraduate level.
