摘要
In this paper are presented the experimental results in high speed face milling The investigations were carried out by using different steels in soft state: carbon steel C.1737 and alloy steel C.4135. The influence of cutting parameters (cutting speed and depth of cut with a constant feed per tooth) and milling direction (up-out and down-cut) on cutting forces performance in high speed face milling is analyzed. Range of cutting speeds was from 350 m/min to 1750 m/min. According to the experimental results the cutting forces decrease with increasing cutting speed for both the examined work piece materials.
