摘要：
This article presents a compact frequency reconfigurable slot-loaded ultrawideband (UWB) antenna with triple rejected bands. The gaps between the parasitic elements and radiating structure are loaded with metallic strips for frequency reconfigurable property. The operation of the UWB antenna changes from single band elimination to dual and triple band elimination by connecting and disconnecting the metal strips. A low loss Rogers RT/Duroid 5880 substrate (thickness 0.79 mm) is used for antenna design. The antenna performance is studied in terms of return loss, gain, efficiency and radiation characteristics. The proposed design has advantages like compact and simple structure along with band elimination characteristics for portable UWB applications.
