摘要
A green certified office building will allow for a high occupancy level and market value, while reducing with up to 30% the operational costs. The certification looks at energy efficiency, use of renewable energy, a healthy indoor environment, etc., requiring focusing on sustainable measures and solutions starting with the concept phase. Our paper aims to increase the level of Building Automation Systems (BAS) in green buildings by supporting the planners and constructors with an overview of the main standards currently in place and by introducing a new proof of concept system for monitoring the ambient parameters. These ambient parameters are mandatory in upper layer control systems that increase wellbeing while reducing energy consumption.
