Optical and conformational properties of polyorganophosphazenes in solutions

摘要
The optical anisotropy and orientation angles (rotary diffusion) of polyorganophosphazene molecules differing in the length and structure of the side chain were studied by flow birefringence and viscometric methods. The equilibrium rigidity of the molecules was evaluated using experimental data on the orientation angles of the molecules in a hydrodynamic field. The optical anisotropy of the monomeric unit of the molecule was calculated quantum-chemically.
