We report on 2 essential tremor patients who experienced marked improvement in upper extremity tremor with the use of pregabalin (Lyrica, PGB). On PGB 200 mg/day, tremor amplitude was reduced by at least 40% in the worst affected hand in both patients as measured by accelerometry. Both patients also reported moderate reduction in tremor on the Clinical Global Impression Scale, and Fahn-Tolosa-Marin Part I scores were markedly improved. (C) 2006 Movement Disorder Society.
