摘要
Best linear unbiased estimation for parameters of a particular location-scale family based on progressively Type-II censored order statistics is considered and optimal censoring schemes are determined. As optimality criteria serve the rho(P)-criteria from experimental design which are applied to the covariance matrix of the BLUEs. The results are supplemented by monotonicity properties of the trace and the determinant with respect to the sample size and the initial number of items in the experiment.
