The thermodynamic properties of potassium uranoborate

摘要
The standard enthalpy of formation of crystalline KBUO5 at 298.15 K (-2289.5 +/- 4.5 kJ/mol) was determined by reaction calorimetry, and the heat capacity of KBUO5 in the temperature range 5-300 K was measured by adiabatic vacuum calorimetry. The results were used to calculate the standard entropy [-446.0 +/- 2.1 J/(mol K)] and Gibbs function of formation (-2156.5 +/- 5.0 kJ/mol) of this compound at 298.15 K. The standard thermodynamic functions of potassium uranoborate synthesis and thermal decomposition were determined and analyzed.
