摘要
Peer-to-Peer (P2P) systems and Grids share the same focus on harnessing resources across large-scale multi-administrative domains though having many different characteristics. The way of using P2P approaches to realize decentralized P2P Grid system extends the resource scalar exponentially. This paper presents a layered resource space model that has a good feature in expansibility, autonomy, modularity and loose coupling. In terms of this model a Bootstrap based on Distributed Hashing Table (DHT) is added into P2P Grid and a Peer Service is implemented in every node. The semantic-based resource management architecture and RPC protocols are discussed. A prototype experiment is realized with BT tracker functionality. This model could be used in P2P Grid systems and heterogeneous P2P systems as a reference for resource sharing and collaboration. The contribution of this paper is to provide a semantic-based solution to resource discovery, search and integration that will enable the SOA revolution in P2P Grid.
