摘要
This paper proposes an efficient algorithm for identifying outdated access points (APs) in the fingerprint database. The relationship between physical distance in two-dimensional space and corresponding fingerprint distance in fingerprint database is analyzed. Then, by comparing the difference of fingerprint distance between good fingerprint database and outdated one, a reasonable detection threshold of fingerprint distance is set and AP credibility voting mechanism is carried out to determine the specific outdated AP. Finally, the simulation experiments are used to verify the robustness of the detection algorithm. The simulation experiment and field measurement experiment indicate that outdated APs detection algorithm can accurately detect the effectiveness of the fingerprint database and find out outdated APs. The dynamic and timeliness of fingerprint database information needs further research.
