摘要:
It has been known that grain refiners such as AI-Ti and Al-Ti-B influence filter life in molten aluminum filtration. A new experimental technique was conducted to make clear the influence of AI-Ti master alloys on the life of Rigid Media tube Filter (RMF). It was shown that the filter life was affected by the concentration of titanium in AI-TI master alloys and the holding time after adding the master alloys to the molten aluminum.
