摘要
An optical true time delay (OTTD) for the sub-array of antennas is an important means for optically controlled phased array antennas (PAA). This paper introduces the sub-array architecture of phased array antennas based on an optical true time delay (OTTD). Meanwhile, it provides a joint beam control method of OTTD's and phase shifters, by which the OTTD errors can be corrected and the pointing accuracy can be improved in phased array antennas. The results of computer simulation show the correctness of this method OTTD provided in this paper.
