摘要:
In the understanding of primary bifurcating flows of a linear array of electromagnetically forced vortices in an experimental fluid motion, a theoretical study on the nonlinear instability is presented. The existence of the bifurcating flows is obtained from a Fourier mode perturbation. This large-scale perturbation, leading to the primary bifurcation observed in a laboratory experiment, was found to be generated principally from a single vortex mode.
