摘要
Using scanning and transmission electron microscopy, we studied the features of the internal oxidation of a low-activation vanadium alloy V-Cr-Zr. It has been established that under the conditions of chemical-heat treatment, the mechanism of nonequilibrium internal oxidation is realized with the formation of fine ZrO2 particles. It is shown that the width of the front of internal oxidation is comparable with the half-thickness of the sample. The advancement of internal oxidation front is accompanied by a significant increase in microhardness. It is assumed that the implementation of the mechanism of non-equilibrium internal oxidation provides uniform conditions for the nucleation and growth of zirconium oxides and a high dispersion of the heterophase structure.
