摘要
We have performed the de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) effect study of UPt3 to gain deeper understanding of the metamagnetic transition. The field dependence of the dHvA frequencies and effective masses are measured for the omega branch observed with fields in the c-plane. The effective masses are enhanced with increasing field, corresponding to the enhancement of the electric specific heat coefficient. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
