摘要：
The title compound, {C3H12N22+ (.) B5O8(OH)(2-)}(n), has been synthesized under mild solvothermal conditions in the presence of 1,3-diaminopropane acting as a template. The structure consists of two-dimensional polymeric sheets constructed from [B5O8(OH)](2-) pentaborate anions. Adjacent borate sheets are linked by O - H (...) O hydrogen bonds to form a three-dimensional framework with channels running along one direction. The propane-1,3-diammonium cations lie within the channels, interacting with the framework through N - H (...) O hydrogen bonds.
