摘要
The elastic scattering cross-sections for alpha particles from nitrogen at a scattering angle of 83.6 degrees were measured in the energy range of 2.0-5.4 MeV, and the nitrogen recoil cross-sections at a recoil angle of 40 degrees were derived from the scattering cross-sections. Simultaneous measurements of scattering cross-sections at a scattering angle of 165 degrees were also performed to validate the measurements. The obtained recoil cross-section data are essential for the quantitative examination of nitrogen through time-of-flight elastic recoil detection analysis with He beams. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V.
