摘要
The research was conducted in one of the greenhouses belonged to the nursery of the Horticulture and Forest Unit in the Plant Production Department, Agricultural Directorate, Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate for the season 2018-2019, to study the effect of the variety and the spraying amino acids and their interactions in some vegetative parameters and the yield of the strawberry plant. The study included eight treatments, which are two variety of strawberry plants (Albion and Ruby gem), three concentrations of amino acids and without addition (0, 2, 4 and 6 g.L-1). The experiment was carried out as a factorial experiment according to the Randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replicates. The results showed that the variety Albion exceeded in plant height, leaf area and the fruit weight, while the variety Ruby gem recorded a significant increase in the number of leaves as well as, the dry weight of shoot, leaf content of chlorophyll and fruit content of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and plant yield, whereas, there were no significant differences between the two varieties in the total acidity percentage (TA) (%). The spraying with amino acids was significantly exceeded in all studied traits, especially at a concentration of 6 g.L-1. The two-study factors interaction had a significant effect on all studied traits.
