This document discusses the evaluation and management of varicoceles in the male partners of infertile couples, and presents the controversies and recommendations regarding this condition. This document replaces the ASRM Practice Committee document titled "Report on Varicocele and Infertility,'' last published in 2008, and was developed in conjunction with the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology (C) 2014 by American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
