摘要
Because of common practice of power electronics apparatus or tools and integration of renewable energy resources the quality of electrical power system become more important now. In this paper hybrid APF with sliding mode controller and notch harmonic detection technique are implemented to enhance the power quality of distribution network. This method easily compensates the reactive power which is injected from residential customer and source current harmonics which are injected from nonlinear load. This method improves the quality of power with laundering the common coupling point (PCC) from harmonics and distortions of voltages which is originated through the grid. Sliding mode controller is used, and proposed system clean the PCC from the sag, swell and distortion of voltages which is because of nonlinear load, hence no malfunction entered in grid station. Simulation results carried out on 1.6 kVA prototype and discussed.
