摘要
Nowadays the choice of polymer composites are alternative solution of Metal matrix composites for the light weight construction to less cost consumption. The most of the fibers are freely available in surrounding environmental sources. In this work consider the Arecanut and Kevlar fiber with epoxy resins to make a simple plate structures. The Arecanut is the eco friendly material it has 53.2% of cellulose content. The mechanical strength of the composites is analyzed such as tensile strength, Rockwell hardness and the impact test. The different size of the fibers are prepared with adding of epoxy resin for obtain the excellent strength, the denser of the fibers and the applied of resin are decided the strength of the composites. The hybrid composites are implemented to prepare the composites, slightly increasing the thickness of the composites in the preparation that causes increase the strength of the plate. The enhanced hardness value was obtained by using of the epoxy resin for the composites. (C) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
