摘要
The discharge and pre-discharge modelling plays an important role in the electric industry: important fields like partial discharges, radio frequency interference, live-line maintenance and HVDC can receive significant improvements thanks to a better understanding of these phenomena. In this paper we have briefly described some breakthroughs in these fields to better model the cold-plasma, the discharge inception, and to provide some valuable tools to the power industry in terms of new analysis techniques and new sensors.
