摘要
The article deals with the conflict between Italy and the European Commission on the question of the Italian budget. The author states that behind the deficit level, whether permitted to the Italian government or not, there is a question of whether Italy remains a sovereign nation. That's not only a question of the validity of that decision. That also explains the fact that all parties (also France Insoumise) supported the Italian government because sovereignty is one of the bases of the policy. Thus the question of sovereignty is the key point in this conflict. Nowadays aspiration of peoples to the sovereignty appears in different countries and in various forms. However the sovereignty is called into question due to the practice of the European Union. The sovereignty logically leads to the problem of democracy and relations between legality and legitimacy. A conclusion was made that the of the sovereignty problem resolution has a fundamental significance for the future of all our society.
